When you’re confronted with an issue that seems to have no solution, do you ever consider giving up?

I’m not going to speak about it at all!

I gave up as a general strategy for dealing with life.

I’m going to discuss something far deeper now.

If you were reared in the same manner that I was, you were taught to never give up.

You were taught to keep going no matter what the situation was and to complete anything that you began.

If there was nothing that could be done to improve the situation, you had to learn to accept it and go on with your life.

I grew up in a household where there were those who were favored and others who were not, as well as good folks and evil ones.

You have to be quick on your feet to avoid getting into trouble since roles might flip very quickly.

The parts I went for were some of my favorites and were solid.

I went to school and performed extremely well academically; I obtained nice jobs; I delighted my supervisors; and I excelled in most aspects of my life.

I never understood that my whole existence consisted of performing characters and avoiding the hurt that comes with being rejected.

There are magnificent and unpleasant paths that lead to liberation.

After completing my master’s degree in marriage, family, and child counseling, I worked as an intern in a facility that provides therapy for teenagers who have run away from home.

It was a tough institution that served troubled children and the families of those children.

One day, I accepted a call from a concerned parent and handled it in accordance with the established procedure.

The next day, when I got back from work, the phone was already ringing.

It was the same concerned parent calling, but this time they sounded much more angry.

Her kid had escaped from the childcare facility, and she put the blame on me for it.

The first time we spoke, it was challenging, but this time she started throwing verbal bombs at me as I fought to avoid them.

I was skewered by her.

After the onslaught was done, I came to the sobering conclusion that I would never prevail in my conflict with her.

I was unable to mention that my name is Sandy Nathan.

I’ve had straight A’s for the rest of my life, and now I’m a celebrity.

Please give me a shot.

No.

I was the equivalent of dog feces in her eyes, and that would never change.

It was unbelievable.

No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t come out on top.

I was also aware of the reasons for her child’s flight.

When all other options are exhausted, the most prudent action to take is to leave the scene.

Since then, I’ve realized that the profound awareness that “I am never going to win here” is really a gift that I should be grateful for.

It occurs after I have used every ability and cure at my disposal and serves as a signal for me to start the withdrawal process.

There are many spiritual teachers who emphasize the need to let go of attachments.

The phrase “Freedom follows renunciation” was something that my meditation instructor would often repeat.

You unlock a door to newfound freedom whenever you repudiate or officially reject something.

When I finally declare, “I give up!” In all cases, I am referring to the same notions.

There are two basic phases involved in quitting.

The first thought that sprang to me was, “This is not good for me.” I resigned.

And you leave—well, at least on the inside.

The second topic is the means of egress.

If you are planning on making a significant adjustment to your life, the process might take many years.

Your monthly rent or mortgage payment won’t alter even if you get out of that toxic arrangement, so don’t worry about it.

You have to be sure that you have a plan in place to pay your costs before you actually leave the country.

If you are in an abusive environment, you have a responsibility to take precautions to ensure your safety before you leave.

Complete your assignments.

Your relationship with the Divine is the single most significant factor in determining whether or not you will be successful in stopping.

This link will serve as a source of strength for you while you go through the process of making the necessary bodily adaptations and mental reconfigurations that accompany significant life transitions.

It is necessary to maintain a regular practice of spirituality.

During this time of preparation, it is crucial to prioritize activities like prayer, meditation, positive thinking, contributing to your source of spiritual support, and living a disciplined life.

When you make your move, they are quite important.

Know that you are free, even as you take the first baby steps out of the poisonous waste and away from the situation you were in.

If you keep moving forward, you will create a new life for yourself.
