Do you prefer to meditate outside? Does it really make a difference where you go to meditate? I believe it is possible.

Being outside not only gives us a unique meditation experience, but it also gives us a deeper one for some of us who are interested.

There are a number of compelling arguments in support of this.

Perhaps the most straightforward method, particularly for beginners, is to meditate in a quiet room with no sounds or anything to distract you. If you can’t get your mind to stop thinking about what’s going on around you, it’s even more difficult.

To get the tranquility that comes from meditation to spread throughout your whole life, you might want to learn how to meditate in the middle of a lot of noise and activity.

Practicing Meditation in the Fresh Air

A high bank on a river near where I used to live has a steep drop-off. It was just a five-minute walk from my home to the location.

At the very top, there is a flat grassy area with a view down to the ocean fifty feet below. That’s where I’d want to take a seat.

On several occasions, I could feel the gentle wind on my skin and hear it rustling through the nearby trees.

Along with that, I could hear the water as it struggled through some dead trees along the river bank.

I could smell the dirt all around me, as well as the stench of fish rising from the water.

Meditating in that setting was not only delightful because of the surroundings, but it was also a refreshing change from meditating in the stillness of my own house.

There was a greater feeling of being in the moment and enjoying the surroundings without over-analyzing them.

Why? Perhaps it was due to the fact that there was more to discover.

There were the noises, which included the chirping of birds and the splashing of an animal in the river every now and again.

There were several scents to take in, as well as the texture of the grass.

Closed eyelids are typically my preferred method of meditation since I am a highly visually-oriented person and find it simpler to concentrate in this manner.

Meditation Freshens up My Perspective on Life

When I concluded my meditation by the river, I would, of course, open my eyes, but what I saw was never the same as what I had seen when I began my meditation.

While it was obvious that everything was the same, I was seeing things differently, as if for the first time.

While it is difficult to describe, if you have experienced this experience, you will be able to identify it immediately.

It’s fantastic to take a step back and view things as if for the first time. You are seeing things as they are, without any preconceptions.

I may see a deer on the other side of the river, but the word “deer” would never enter my mind, which means that I wouldn’t be clouded by any preconceived notions about what a deer is or should be.

Nature Meditation: A Must Try!

In addition, the noises and feelings were “new.” I believe that this more direct experience of life is a powerful example of how much of our lives are spent “living” via our ideas, which are often disconnected from reality.

If you haven’t already, why not try taking your next meditation session outdoors for a change of scenery?

Try sitting on a hill or in front of a garden while you meditate. You could also try standing in front of a lake or pond.

When you open your eyes, you will be greeted with a breathtaking scene. There is nothing quite like spending time in nature to meditate.

Your MASTERY OF LIFE begins the moment you break through your prisons of self-created limitations and enter the inner worlds where creation begins.
