Soon, you find yourself feeling extremely down.
The sensation of fluctuating emotions first took hold of me during my high school years.
Prior to that moment, every aspect of existence felt like a trial period.
Certainly, exams, extracurricular activities, and the typical social pressures were all part of the equation.
However, as the prospect of attending university loomed closer, the atmosphere shifted to a more solemn tone.
People often emphasize that these years hold immense significance in one’s life.
Maximize their potential.
Thus, each and every entity, regardless of its magnitude, appeared to possess an intensified impact.
If I failed to accomplish a task correctly, my entire existence would be in jeopardy.
Once I managed to make progress in the correct direction, my entire life fell into place.
Upon submitting my application for a leadership role that seemed tailor-made for me, I wholeheartedly convinced myself that securing the position was an absolute necessity.
I thoroughly studied the duties of leadership, rehearsed my speech repeatedly, and contemplated my future actions upon assuming the position.

Whenever I managed to attain something I desired, it would inevitably pave the way for another challenging predicament that required my attention.
And the story continued.
I was utterly drained after grappling with these emotions and thoughts for an extended period.
The tunnel seemed to stretch on indefinitely.
There is never a moment when I can simply set aside all my tasks, take a seat, and fully appreciate the surrounding view.
After a while, I came to the realization that it wasn’t just the whirlwind of circumstances surrounding me that led to my fluctuations.
The viewpoint expressed belonged to me.
I frequently found myself deeply invested in particular outcomes, as if my entire existence hinged upon them, and experienced profound disappointment when circumstances didn’t align as desired.

Honestly, I wouldn’t desire either option.
I have come to understand that regardless of the circumstances, life continues to move forward.
Every individual experiences both moments of joy and obstacles throughout their journey, but it is important to remember that these instances do not define the entirety of one’s existence.
