What is the Higher Self, and How Does It Manifest Itself?
Are we merely a collection of organs with a personality? According to what I understand, we are far more than that.
Every single one of us has a greater element.
“The Higher Self” is the term used to refer to this higher component of one’s personality.
If I am not mistaken, it has also been referred to as the over soul or the over self by others.
What and who is the Higher Self, and what does it look like? According to my observations, the higher self is the element of ourselves that has intellect and wisdom.
As a contrast to our personality, the higher self is impersonal and does not have any concept of self, which is ironic.
Even though it is a part of the personality or ego, it isn’t a must.
Is it possible to communicate with this illusive higher self? Yes, and it is often done through meditation or other altered states of mind.
Here’s a little bit about me. When I was in my late twenties and deeply contemplating a spiritual topic, I noticed that I would sometimes have visions that attempted to answer my questions.
This was the beginning of my spiritual journey.
The visions are mostly symbolic in nature. My higher self will send me messages by putting symbols and visuals in my mind that make messages that I can see and think about.
An example of this kind of transmission
A few years back, I was thinking about the nature of the reincarnation cycle, and it got me thinking. Will lost souls be trapped in the lower world for the rest of their lives?
According to many Eastern beliefs, those who do not achieve enlightenment will be trapped in a cycle of continuous birth and reincarnation.
I got a communication from somewhere outside of my conscious consciousness, seemingly out of nowhere.
It arrived in the form of a “bundle”… a flurry of images, symbols, and emotions. Impressions that are formed in a single second.
My right hemisphere seemed to have taken up residence in the package. My brain made an instinctual effort to decipher the signal before I lost track of time.
Why can’t I be sure that it wasn’t all in my head? First and foremost, I do not think in terms of visuals.
I think in terms of languages, such as English, Mandarin, and so on.
Second, the sent pictures were causing a “dual-split” in my mind as a result of their transmission.
In other words, the pictures are overlaying my visual impression of the world around me at the same time.
A “dual-split” in awareness, on the other hand, is clearly not the way my mind normally operates!
The bright blue background served as a backdrop for the animated vision.
There was a series of rings or bands of a lighter tint that were heading towards the center.
Because the communication was so quick, I believe I may have missed out on some critical information.
Anyway, here’s my take on the situation.
Please keep in mind that it was my actual brain that performed the interpretation in this case.
There is never a point at which I am completely certain of the veracity of my interpretation:
This broadcast is being sent forth in an effort to address mistakes, or rather incompleteness, in my grasp of the overall scheme of things.
The cycle of reincarnation is not intended to continue indefinitely.
At some point, everything will revert to its original state or essence.
That transfer, on the other hand, occurred many years ago.
Since then, I’ve been able to improve my understanding of the situation.
As long as I could understand it at the time, I thought the transmission was fine.
These vision transmissions from my higher self, together with the direction of enlightened physical teachers, have considerably aided my understanding of the dynamics of consciousness and the cosmos throughout the years.
